The Matador

The Matador

This is a damn good movie to watch. The basic plot is about an assasin who befriends a business man. They met in a bull fighting arena in Mexico.

The main plot actors are; Pierce Brosnan & Greg Kinnear.

The thing i like about the movie is the characters in it.Pierce Brosnan carried his character very well. There is no hint of his James Bond 007 in the movie. It is basically about a professional killer who had worked too long and wants to get out of the business. He botched a few jobs and Mr. Stick (his boss) wants him killed for incompetence.

Greg Kinear is the business man who has a good wife. They had lost their son and try to make do with it.The dynamics of the movie is how this normal business man relates to the killer. The killer is cold blooded but he has a big heart.

I like the location of the movie too.It shifts from Denver, Mexico, Budapest, Australia, Philipines & some other places I cannot remember.

It is not a high action movie but where the dialog and plot held my attention.Don't watch this movie with children because there is a few scenes where the business man humps the wife and the killer humps various women too.

Watch the movie when you can.

This blog will be about the movies that I had watched and which I like.I will not review any bad ones.It is a total waste of my time. The reviews will be from my point of view and will not reflect the opinions of my family, friends, coleagues or anyone who knows me.

I like a good movie.A good movie is the one that has a good story to tell.It captures the audience from start to finish. It makes the audience think and discuss the movie after the first watch.A classic movie is the one that is discussed by its audience forever.

I like to know the art of a good movie-making.The people who are involved in the creative ideas in making a movie is the core.People such as but not limited to the screen writer, director, editor, producer & costume designers.Of course there are other important people to make a movie works. I will try to review one movie a week.
